About
Building a personal fashion supply chain
We’ve observed a common pain point among women of all ages and body types: mass-produced garments often fail to fit well or meet quality standards.
Balodana emerged from the vision of addressing this issue by creating a superior fitting and more efficient manufacturing and supply chain solution for consumers. To test our hypothesis, we launched the Balodana marketplace (recently closed so we can focus on our new endeavor), allowing women to shop based on their body measurements rather than relying on standard sizes and size charts.
And it worked! Customers came back over and over because they wanted to feel more confident in their purchases and in their clothing. And they felt connected to the process and the people who made their clothes.
Encouraged by these findings, we decided to offer our solution to support other clothing brands. By embracing body shape inclusivity and on-demand manufacturing, brands can boost revenue and also enhance customer satisfaction – without waste!
Together, let’s revolutionize the apparel industry and better serve all types of bodies.
